  • Overview

    Dole Packaged Foods is looking for a highly motivated and strategic Senior Business Manager to lead the Single Serve Portfolio. The Single Serve Portfolio consists of Fruit Bowls in 100% Juice, No Sugar Added Fruit Bowls, Fruit in Gels, Parfaits, Organics and Fruit Bowls in Coconut Water. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Portfolio, managing the P&L, developing the innovation pipeline and creating/executing annual operating/marketing plans that lay out the vision and drive sustainable sales and profit growth.

The candidate will report to the Senior Director of Marketing for Shelf Stable Products.


    • Deliver revenue, volume and EBIT targets for the Single Serve Portfolio
    • Craft long-term vision/strategy needed to ensure long-term growth objectives for the Portfolio
    • Monitor Portfolio health metrics and develop consumer communication plans that maintain/improve key brand health metrics
    • Partner with agencies in developing annual wholistic marketing plans that communicate the unique value proposition and positioning of each of the lines within the Portfolio and amplify brand desirability
    • Collaborate with Sales Strategy in developing, adjusting and monitoring volume forecasts and developing trade promotion plans that deliver the most efficient use of trade funds to drive sales
    • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of various projects, including new product development, packaging changes, and cost savings initiatives
    • Analyze custom/syndicated data to identify and respond to category trends, competitive activity, and consumption trends; share actionable insights with cross functional team members and senior leadership
    • Partner with Market Research in developing strategic qualitative and quantitative research to identify consumer, customer and competitive insights and trends that justify development of new products, optimization of existing products, and sound marketing campaigns; disseminate insights knowledge across the organization
    • Develop the short and long-term innovation pipeline for the Single Serve Portfolio, including but not limited to line extensions and value add products
    • Work with Supply Chain in managing inventory levels to improve working capital and reduce the risk of obsolete inventory
    • Mentor and coach direct reports with timely and constructive feedback to ensure their developmental needs are being met and that they remain motivated and inspired to give their best
    • Other duties as assigned.




    • 6-8 years of brand management experience; high preference for CPG experience in food & beverage
    • Proven track record for identifying successful strategies and executing against them with measurable success
    • Proven success in new product development (concept ideation through product commercialization and launch)
    • Genuine passion/curiosity for the consumer and the consumer products industry
    • Self-motivated and works well in a fast paced, high pressure, lean environment
    • Creative acumen in terms of consumer communications and problem solving
    • Effective communicator with the ability to develop compelling stories and strategic plans for both internal and external parties and influence key stakeholders
    • Strong organization and project management skills, including the ability to lead cross functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Superb analytical ability, including the use of qualitative and quantitative data to mine opportunities and develop sound business strategies
    • Team player who is comfortable/thrives while collaborating to lead organizational initiatives

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
    • MBA highly desired


    • 1 to 2 direct reports


    • Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones, and utilize a variety of office equipment. Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. and reach overhead.


    • Occasional travel required
