  • Overview

    Under Supervision, the human resources assistant performs work of moderate difficulty in human resources and related areas to include but not limited to scheduling and employee relations.

    Responsibilities

    • Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and process of personnel records and reports.
    • Interacts with and supplies information to job applicants, employees, plant department heads, and public and private customers.

     

    • Maintains high standards for confidentiality of all employee records and information.
    • Assist with employee training, onboarding and recruiting.
    • Transport candidates and employees by golf cart when needed.
    • May be required to enter data and maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
    • Alphabetic and numerical filing and file creation to include review and completion of new hire files.
    • Other duties as assigned that are reasonable associated with the above duties.

    Qualifications

    • Trilingual, English proficiencies both written and verbal, conversational Punjabi & Spanish preferred.
    • Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
    • Operation, training of company golf carts best practices.

     EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • At least one year of work experience in a clerical support position
    • Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates ability to perform the duties of the position.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

     

    • Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones, and utilize a variety of office equipment. Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. and reach overhead.
    • Must be able to climb stairs
    • Requires climbing, standing, stooping, twisting, lifting and other physical movements to perform job.
