This position manages the replenishment of finished product and raw materials for products across all channels produced at all the Frozen Operations facilities with the goal of maximizing availability and improved plant performance with the goal of being the frozen fruit industry’s lowest cost producer.

This role provides flexibility to work in a hybrid environment of home and our Westlake Village, CA office.

• Manage the activities necessary for the short- and long-term planning cycles and work with finance and other functional areas within the business to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee and optimize the management of cold chain plants and distribution warehouses inventory replenishment levels utilizing MRP disciplines in compliance to company inventory targets and customer service objectives.
• Lead the development of valid, feasible master production schedules for finished goods and component items based on equipment lines, labor and raw material availability. Resolve discrepancies in quantity & timing of processed work orders of batch managed ingredients supporting make to forecasts inventory models.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning group in the Westlake office to address supply constraints and forecast gaps by plant/DC.
• Ensure adequate Sales & Operations Planning communication for all products including demand, inventory and production data through frequent interactions with multiple cross functional groups, including but not limited to Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing and Manufacturing personnel to balance supply and demand.
• Manage and interface with downstream planning activities to enhance supply planning and execution requirements for the businesses that will drive targeted inventory turns and sustain required customer service levels.
• Capacity Planning and schedule adherence Metric development to influence productivity and provide directional analysis for Root Cause resolution.
• Develop inventory targets and replenishment plans that consider the impact of forecast error, fluctuations in demand, and the reliability of plant, co-packer, and supplier production/quality.
• Manage the activities required to develop safety stocks levels that support the service level targets by product, while optimizing the inventory investment and targeted inventory turns.
• Review and ensure that the appropriate financial metrics are monitored and that proper fiscal controls are in place to maximize cost savings throughout the function.
• Enable systematic planning activities in SAP by optimizing material master attributes with an understanding of how the material master flows into inventory, MRP, costing/GL Posting and Costing.
• Develop KPI’s with the scope of improving materials management and Customer Service levels.
• Identify and develop new ideas and lead projects that improve the overall supply chain processes and work to align those with the best practices in the industry.
• Collaborate and coach site planners to ensure full understanding of their category in line with overall departmental and plant strategy.
• Initiate training and learning opportunities that expand and enhance users’ knowledge and capabilities giving them the ability to adjust to technology and industry changes effectively and in a timely fashion.
• Other duties, as assigned

• Five to ten plus years in supply chain and manufacturing planning in CPG environment
• Knowledge of SAP ECC MM and SD modules preferable
• Managing Supply Planning in multi-site Cold Chain environments strongly preferred

Education & Certification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Industrial Engineering Discipline strongly preferred
• CPIM strongly preferred
• If no degree, must have 8+ years of supply chain and manufacturing planning experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional travel may be required.
