Will work with all aspects of the Pasteurizer System including troubleshooting.

Work Hours: Any shift, any day of the week, as assigned. Overtime as needed

Primary Accountabilities:

• Responsibility for operation of pasteurizer system, evaporator, cook room.
• Troubleshoot control system.
• Monitoring product flow to filler and holding tanks.
• Maintain high quality and production standards.
• Must practice good human relations.
• Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
• Must, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with co-workers, supervisors and managements.
• Under the direction of Department Manager/Supervisor will be required to drive forklift as needed to move pallets, product and bins.
• Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.

• Other duties that are reasonably associated with the above essential functions of the job.
• Will work in Production (Bracket IX deepening on employment status) according to seniority number, at that pay rate, when not scheduled in specialty job.

Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:                                                  

• Thorough knowledge of all pasteurizing Systems – processing, sterilization, clean up, assembling and disassembling of equipment
• Must have ability to troubleshoot to minimize down time.
• Must be able to follow orders and directions.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work in a teamwork environment
• Prior working experience in a Food Manufacturing setting required
• Previous Machine Operator experience preferred
• Previous Forklift experience a plus with high stacking experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete forklift evaluation/certification prior to forklift operation of any kind for any reason to include forklift training.

• Must be able to climb stairs to access equipment in plat
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Requires climbing, standing, stooping, twisting, lifting and other physical movements to perform job.
