We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal / Contracts Management Specialist to join our Corporate Legal team. This role will support a dynamic legal department that partners with commercial and supply chain functions across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, contract management expertise, and a collaborative mindset to help drive operational excellence and legal compliance globally.

This role provides flexibility to work in a hybrid environment of home and our Westlake Village, CA office. (Hybrid is defined as 3 times per week in the office).

Responsibilities

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Contract Lifecycle Management
    • Draft, review, and manage a wide range of commercial agreements including NDAs, vendor contracts, supply chain agreements, and service-level agreements.
    • Maintain and update contract templates and clause libraries in alignment with legal and business standards.
    • Track contract status, renewals, expirations, and obligations using contract management systems.
  • Legal Support & Coordination
    • Assist attorney(s) in preparing legal documents, conducting research, and organizing case files.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across procurement, sales, operations, and finance to ensure contract compliance and timely execution.
    • Support cross-border legal matters by liaising with international teams and external counsel.
  • Process Optimization & Compliance
    • Help implement and improve legal workflows and contract review processes.
    • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Support audits and reporting related to legal operations and contract governance.
  • Knowledge Management
    • Maintain organized legal records and databases.
    • Assist in training business teams on contract procedures and legal best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:                                          

  • 3+ years of experience in a legal or contracts management role, ideally within a multinational corporation.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
  • Experience with contract management software (e.g., Ironclad, Coupa, DocuSign CLM, SharePoint).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Paralegal certificate preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead.

FOR JOBS BASED IN CALIFORNIA:

Hiring Pay Scale: $35 to $40 an hour
