The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Finance is a key strategic partner to end-to-end operations, including logistics, procurement, and third-party manufacturing (3PM). This role leads financial planning, performance management, and cost optimization efforts across the supply chain, driving alignment between financial objectives and operational execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of financial strategy, deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, and a proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. This role is instrumental in delivering margin-enhancing insights, enabling data-driven decisions, and supporting long-term business growth.

 

This role provides flexibility to work in a hybrid environment of home and our Westlake Village, CA office. (Hybrid is defined as 3 times per week in the office).

Responsibilities

Cost Transparency & Analysis

  • Oversee, track and analyze cost of imported goods components including product cost, inbound freight, and import fees.
  • Provide executive-level insights to explain variances to budget, forecast, and prior year across key cost drivers such as raw materials, freight, duties, product mix, and source mix.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of supply chain financials.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

  • Lead budget and forecast cycles for logistics, sourcing, and 3PM.
  • Translate operational assumptions into financial models and scenario analyses.
  • Drive alignment between financial forecasts and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.

Strategic Sourcing & 3PM Strategy Support

  • Evaluate financial impact of sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and 3PM partnerships.
  • Support costing and copacker evaluation for innovation, capacity planning, and contract negotiations.
  • Identify and recommend cost optimization opportunities across the value chain.

Performance Management & Decision Support

  • Facilitate regular financial performance reviews with supply chain and finance leadership.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actionable strategies to improve margins and operational efficiency.
  • Lead development of KPIs and dashboards to monitor supply chain financial performance.

Integrated Business Planning (IBP) & S&OP Alignment

  • Ensure financial integration with volume plans, innovation roadmaps, and inventory strategies.
  • Provide financial oversight on excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory, production forecasts, and working capital.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:       

  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supply chain or operations finance role.
  • Accounting background strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Strong Excel skills.
  • Food industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Abilit to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic initiatives.

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required
  • MBA or CPA preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and use the computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and use a variety of office equipment; ability to lift 15 pounds and reach overhead.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required

FOR JOBS BASED IN CALIFORNIA:

Hiring Pay Scale: $140,000 to $160,000

The pay rate offered will consider a wide range of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, accomplishments, and location.
