Reporting to the Atwater Quality Manager, the QA Administration Assistant is a key member of the manufacturing FSQA team in managing quality standards and data from both Atwater and McDonnough locations.

 

Responsibilities

Primary Accountabilities:

  1. Complaint Management
  • Management of customer and consumer complaints originating from the ATW and DML facilities.
  • Compiles complaint data for KPI and period reports.

 

  1. Certifications and Audits
  • Management of 3rd party and external compliance audit certifications (SQF, organic, USDA) with relevant facility teams.
  • Assist facility teams in audit preparation and provide support for internal and external plant audits as needed.
  • Ensure CAPA reports are completed and submitted to certification bodies within required timeframes.
  • Scheduling internal exercises (mock recall, food fraud, crisis events) and coordination of related activities in collaboration with the Quality Manager.

 

  1. Document and Data Management
  • Maintain and update facility level quality management system documentation (FSQM).
  • Maintain documentation and databases related to vendors and 3rd party service suppliers.
  • Organize and maintain records, such as scoresheets, data collection entries, spreadsheets, specifications, outside company contacts, and any other department related documents and reports as necessary.
  • Oversee environmental swab inventory, order office and lab supplies, and handle goods receipt.
  • Input and update environmental Listeria results, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and other test results
  • Track pesticide testing, heavy metals, virus test scheduling, and results.
  • Schedule calibration and environmental monitoring activities.
  • Point of contact for management and implementation of Allera data management system for manufacturing locations.

 

Qualifications

Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:

    • Experience in food manufacturing quality is a plus, but not required.
    • Must have good English reading/writing proficiency.
    • Must have PC skills including competence in data handling and word processing applications.
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Must have competent math skills.

Education & Certification:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to answer phones, and utilize a variety of office equipment
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and reach overhead
  • Must be able to climb stairs
  • Requires climbing, standing, stooping, twisting, lifting, and other physical movements to perform the job.

Work Environment:

    • Industrial plant environment with related noise and temperature.

Hiring Pay Scale: $22.50_____
