Operate and monitor all aspects of the Peach Slicer and dicer unit area equipment.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Set up, start up and shut down all aspects of the peach slicer or dicer area and equipment. This includes feed and take away belts, hydraulic valves, water valves, etc.
• Monitor and make all adjustments necessary on running of slicers or dicer and related conveyors (as trained)
• Keep area clean and organized at all time
• Follow company policies
• Follow safety procedures
• Other duties that are reasonably associated with the above essential functions of the job
• Will work in Production (Bracket IX or X depending on employment status) according to seniority number, at that pay rate, when not scheduled in specialty job

Experience, Knowledge, & Skills You Bring:                                            

• Knowledge of manufacturing process and equipment.
• Proper training of machinery as required.
• Previous operating experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance is an essential function of the job

Education & Certification:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to pass job specific Physical Ability Test (PAT)
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Requires climbing, standing, stooping, twisting, lifting, and other physical movements to perform job                

Work Environment:

• Industrial plant environment with related noise and temperatures
