The Sales Account Representative receives, reviews and accurately processes customer orders for assigned markets. Invoices orders accurately and timely. Participates within the Sales Support team in all aspects of customer service and distribution. Ensures total customer satisfaction through management of inventory, transportation, billing, and sales follow up. Monitors and follows up on inventory positioning at forward warehouses. Works closely with Supply Chain Planning to ensure appropriate inventory levels are placed at warehouses in accordance with customer demand and promotional activity. Develops strong relationships with customers and brokers through direct communication and timely resolution of issues. Acts as a liaison between customer buying offices and Regional Sales Managers to ensure customer satisfaction. Sells the quality of Dole by explaining policies, procedures and services that Dole offers. Suggests ways to improve current procedures and service levels through proactive planning. Provides sales reports and follow up with RSM’s and customer buying offices for critical customers. Work as an extension of the sales team to maintain and increase customer base and case sales.
NOTE: This role is not a regular full-time position. It is a temporary position with an anticipated duration of no more than six months. The selected candidate for this role will be referred to a third party staffing company that will be responsible for providing any earned compensation and benefits.
As a frontline representative, the selected candidate will be responsible for handling and responding to consumer contacts received in the Consumer Center via 800 #, social media, e-mail, and regular mail.
The Director of Foodservice Marketing & Innovation is accountable for the overall direction, planning and execution of Foodservice Marketing activities to achieve annual and long-range volume and profit goals. This position will have the exciting opportunity to lead the Foodservice team on new product development, including planning, oversight for syndicated trend reporting, market needs research, production feasibility studies, generating and testing new product concepts, and executing market launch support programs and communications. This position is also accountable for the overall direction of the development of effective and strategic marketing programs and product development efforts that identify emerging trends to significantly enhance current products or provide the basis for a breakthrough innovation. Identify and evaluate innovation opportunities for incremental businesses that fill white space with new-to-the-world ideas, enter existing categories that Dole should play in, and extend existing lines within Dole’s capacity and capabilities. Plans, directs and coordinates marketing efforts toward the accomplishment of corporate key performance indicators. Supports leadership in the establishment of priorities and direction for product lines including promotions, packaging, and product quality standards. This role will also help develop Dole’s brand promise.
